Is MemeMarket legal?
MemeMarket is a decentralized protocol. Users are responsible for complying with the laws and regulations of their local jurisdiction before using the platform. We do not operate in restricted regions.
Is there a native token?
Not yet. MemeMarket currently operates using SOL. However, active users (traders and LPs) may be earning points towards a future governance token airdrop. Stay tuned.
How does MemeMarket make money?
The protocol charges a small trading fee (details in the Fees section) which is split between the treasury and liquidity providers.
Account & Wallet
Do I need to KYC?
No. MemeMarket is permissionless. You only need a Solana wallet to connect and trade. We do not collect personal data like names, addresses, or passports.
Which wallets are supported?
We support all wallets compatible with the Solana Wallet Adapter standard, including Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, Glow, and Ledger (via connect).
Trading & Settlement
Can I cancel a bet?
Once a transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it cannot be reversed. However, you can sell your shares back to the market at the current price to exit your position.
When do I get paid?
Settlement is instant once the market resolves. You must click "Redeem" on your portfolio page to claim your winnings back to your wallet.
What if the price hits the target exactly?
Market rules are strictly defined in the smart contract. Usually, "Above X" means strictly greater than (>). If the price is exactly X, the outcome is NO. Always check the specific rules tab on each market.
Technical Support
My transaction failed!
This is usually due to Solana network congestion or insufficient slippage tolerance. Try increasing your priority fee or slippage settings and try again.
